1. Think of it as an adventure! There is nothing to fear as long as you allow plenty of time to get where you need to go. Someone can accompany you all the way up to security, and if you are a minor, then your folks can stay with you until you board the plane.

When you arrive in France, there will be English speaking people than can direct you, as well as signs in both French and English.

All you will need to do is have a pre-arranged meeting place for the folks picking you up on the other end, then just navigate yourself to that spot.

If you have a cell phone, just turn it on the moment you land and telephone the receiving party so they know where you are.

Have a terrific time this summer, and try not to fret!

  2. Don't worry, theres nothing to be scared about! Its very simple, you bring your ticket and passport to the check-in desk. These are straight inside the the "departures" door, and you will see the name of your flight (nice) on a screen which will tell you what desk number to go to. At the desk, they will check your tickets/passport, take any bags that your putting into the hold. Always keep your passport on you/in your bag that your bringing on board. At the desk, they will ask you some easy security questions, like "did you pack the bag yourself?" They will then give you the boarding card, which you use to get onto the plane. When all of this is done, follow the signs to go to the security area, where they x-ray your bag and you walk through the metal detector. This is very easy and the staff there are helpful and explain everything. The boarding card will have your "departure gate" number on it, so look at this number and then follow the signs until you get to the right gate. You can wait there until the staff make an announcement that you can board the plane. Its not nearly as hard as you think! And yes in Nice they will be able to speak english, the signs in the airport are often in english too. Just leave yourself loads of time and you will be fine! Just enjoy the whole experience, it should be fun! : )

  3. its easy dont worry (:

bring an ipod or something that will help you calm down

  4. Print out a map of each airport you will be in.

Draw a path on where you want to go to get to your gate.

    Follow that path!!

Just make sure you dont bring anything thats a liquid thru security..tehy will make u throw it away.

Have your ID out and anything else that is nesesary for quick check. if you take forever the security people get mad. They are so uptight its rediculous. Take off anything metal and put it in the boxes to get scanned so you wont set off the metal detector.

  5. They probably will speak English!!!

I flew from birmingham to stuttgart by myself and was bricking it but i managed (miracle)!!

Its quite easy, you can probably check in online!!

Make it easier by: putting liqiuds in a clear bag before you get to the airport!!! make sure you have passport/boarding passes accessable (sounds stupid, but i have got to the kiosk and had to unpack everything to find them!!!) and important: LEAVE LOADS OF TIME!!! to find your gate and stuff, although everything is usually well signposted i still find im a lot calmer if im not rushing to find somewhere!!

also: try not to get to distracted by duty free!!!! time flies... (scuse pun!)

Enjoy Nice, and don't worry too much!! there will always be someone you can ask!

  6. yah u can find english speaking persons there at airport
