Can anyone tell me is there a designated transfer service from CDG to the Disneyland area hotels? I am staying in the Explorers Hotel and am keen to set my mind at rest.

  1. There is the Disney bus when you come out of the airport.  Believe me you can't miss it its bright red and got the full Disneyland Resort logo's all over it.  I can't remember if you can pay the driver or have to book tickets in advance.

  2. Here you are :

Arrivée à Paris à l'aéroport Charles-de-Gaulle (au nord) ou Orly (au sud). Des navettes conduisent jusqu'au parc. Pour les trouver, suivre les indications

    VEA Navettes Disneyland Paris.

    Départ toutes 30-45 minutes

    entre 8h30 et 19h40

ou 22h selon les jours de la semaine.

Transport :13 euros jusqu'à 11 ans, 16 euros pour les adultes,

gratuit pour les enfants de -3 ans.

  3. Hello, I hope this information sets your mind at rest.

The most convenient way is by shuttle or Taxi. The shuttle is the more economical of the two. Shuttle service meets you at the airport with a sign, with your name on it, walks you to the shuttle, and takes you to the front door of your Disney hotel. It is entirely worth it when landing in Paris airport (confusing) jet lag and with kids

    Prices range:

Charles de Gaulle Airport to Disneyland Shuttle Rates

Shuttle Service Disneyland To / From CDG Airport

      1 Person    45 €

      2-3 Person    25 € Per Person

      From 4 Persons    20 € Per Person

Family 2+2    70 € (discount for family of 4 in other words)

You can take the train as well from the airport, but with luggage, and perhaps kids, it's not a good idea, especially if you're jet lag. You have to navigate around the confusing airport and depending on where you land, the train station can be quite a hike. Then there is the stress of being certain you get on the right train in the right direction...really not a good idea unless you are arriving from within Europe and your kids are big enough to manage their own luggage. In which case:

You can take the RER Metro  (RER (Regional Express Network) train from Charles de Gaulle Airport, Line B (blue line) and change at Chatelet Les Halles for A line to Marne-la-Vallée/Chessy. Heads up:  Changing trains is not fun.

The journey takes over an hour no matter what anybody else tells you and no matter what time of year you will be hot and sweaty and annoyed. The good news, once you reach  the Marne-la-Vallée/Chessy station there is a complimentary shuttle bus to all the Resort hotels, yet still another transfer before you reach your final destination.

14 Euro per person takes about 1 hour and 15 minutes

Or for a little more, you can take the TGV  (High-Speed Train), Thalys and Eurostar has direct trains to the station "Marne-la-Vallée - Chessy" from the airport and no changing trains like on the RER. Again there are complimentary shuttle buses to all the Resort hotels from there. The TGV schedule is quite regular and costs 19 Euro pp./ and takes about 35 minutes. You still have to carry your luggage all over, squeeze it through narrow ticket passages and navigate yourself to the right track.

Honestly if you're a young couple with no little ones, the TGV is my 2nd  pick, and worth 5 Euro more to not have to change trains.

If you're a family traveling from overseas, take the shuttle, it's worth the few extra Euro for the pure sanity alone.

    Hope this helps, Wendy

  4. yes, there is a big red bus with disneyland plastered all over it outside arrivals and the journey takes about 50 mins. it definitely goes to the cheyenne and newport bay etc but couldn't be 100% certain it goes to the kyriad and those out further.

  5. It's a long walk
