Airshows in Galveston and Temple, Texas......?

Has anyone been the either the Galveston Lone Star Flight Museum air show or the Central Texas Airshow? I am taking my husband to one for his birthday but not sure which one we should go to. The one in Galveston is next weekend and the one in Temple is the first weekend in May. My husband's brother lives in Temple, but he didn't much about the airshow since he'd never been. We figure the one in Galveston might be better since it will probably be less crowded and we could go to the beach! Any advice or information (if you've been to one of these or knows of someone who's been) would be greatly appreciated! Thanks to all who reply!
