The airsoft gun I recenly bought has an 8.4 V 1150 mAH battery. I was wondering if I could buy an 1300 mAH and not hurt my gun (Crosman Pulse R76). Also what do larger mAH's do? Thanks for your time.

  1. mAh (milli-Amps per hour) is the capacity rating on the battery.  The higher the number the longer the battery can provide proper current = longer shooting time.  The rule of thumb for mAh is the batteries get bigger as the capcity rating (mAh) goes up.  Basically what you are up against is available space in the battery compartment.  Look on www.airsoftforum.com to see what others are doing and the largest mAh Battery they are getting in their R76 guns.  You may be limited to 1200-1400 mAh on this gun
