Hopefully somebody can fill me on or point me in the right direction.
About 3 months ago, a friend of mine sold me a considerable stockpile of Airsoft guns, primarily STAR and Tokyo Mauri (AEG and Springer) at next to nothing (new family, decided to pass the legacy on).
Well after being fully addicted after my first round, ive gotten to the point where Ive developed my own setups. So far I have gotten the following to my liking:
STAR M14 AEG with SOPMOD kit, bipod, and high-power scope (Excellent choice for open fighting, can work as a marksman, support weapon, or battle rifle with a mere clip change-out)
STAR G36C AEG with AG36 attachement and reflex dot sight (again, excellently flexable, able to tackle most combat situations)
Mauri USP Tactical AEP (FREAKISHLY reliable and accurate!)
Maruzen Remington CA870 Spring (fun little surprise that nobody sees coming)
STAR Arctic Warfare Magnum Gas/Spring (Do I even need to explain it?)
All of this is nice of course, but if you've been keeping score, you'll have noticed I have a notable deficiency in one area in particular: Close Quarters. Ive frequently been forced into wielding the CA870 and the USP in each hand when it comes to tight urban or interior clashes.
I do however, have part of the solution: a STAR UMP-40 submachine gun AEG. It has a decent rate of fire and is accurate at short do short mid ranges, but ive noticed that the CA870 is more effective at room clearance initially.
So my question is this: I know they make a KAC Masterkey shotgun setup for the M4, and the UMP has the same kind of lower rail as the M4 clones.
That said, is there any rail-mounted shotgun that could possibly be mounted to my SMG? If so, what would it take, what would need to be modified or fabricated to make it work?
