Airtel Champions League T20: Ferguson and Cameron take South Australia to 15-run win
Callum Ferguson and Cameron Borgas bagged South Australia a 15-run victory over bottom-placed Guyana in the final league match of Airtel Champions League T20 played at New Wanderers Stadium, Johannesburg. Chasing South Australia’s
daunting total of 191 for six, Guyana could muster only 176 runs from their allotted 20 overs for the loss of seven wickets.
Guyana’s skipper Ramnaresh Sarwan blazed away with the bat looting 70 runs off just 46 balls hitting 8 muscular boundaries and two lofty sixes. But the pugnacious efforts of Sarwan were ruined by the middle order capitulation.
Three quick wickets of Barnwell, Foo and wicketkeeper Christian not only dragged down the run rate but also slipped the match away from the hands of Guyana.

Manou the next over after being bowled by Wintz with a full-pitched delivery that struck the off stump. Manou scored 15 runs from 12 balls plundering three well-timed boundaries.
The unbeaten South Australian side was three down inside the power-play with not many on the board and it seemed as if the South Australia fans had an upset on the cards. Three early wickets of the Group B leader’s turned
out to be a test of South Australia's middle order that the batsmen did successfully.

putting the side on its way to a competitive total. Ferguson and Borgas played a responsible innings scoring mostly from singles and doubles. The initial five overs of the partnership saw the partners pulling the ball through the ropes just twice.
Guyana’s attack, after three early successes, waited for next 10 overs for another wicket. The fourth wicket stand between Ferguson and Borgas brought 100 up for South Australia in the 14th over. The
partnership was worth 88 when Assad Fudadin broke, having Borgas bowled out with 129 on the board. Borgas scored 48 runs from just 36 deliveries looting three boundaries and a six as well.
