Airtran's stupid guidelines?

I had one of my luggage bags for a LONG time. When I went to the airport to check it in, they said I had to pay $25 for it being "oversized". I had just used the same bag 3 weeks ago and had no problem. I didn't have a lot of stuff, and was able to fold it to follow guidelines. She still made me pay!

Use another airline next time, or drive.

That's the new thing, all the airlines are doing it.

They are all about to go out of biz, they have to charge more so they can keep flying.  $25 bucks is a small price to pay.  It could have been worse, they could have went under leaving you stranded where ever you were.

Be glad you were able to fly at all.
