After Los Blancos’ 1-0 victory over Getafe, Karanka reflected that they out-matched their cross town cousins to win the away league fixture in hostile conditions.
A solitary goal from http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Sergio-Ramos-c33096 was enough for Real Madrid to secure another victory on their travels. With the only goal of the match coming in the first 18 minutes, it was a cagey affair for the current La Liga leaders.

However, Jose Mourinho’s right hand man thought Los Blancos were never in danger of dropping points against Getafe in the lesser-known Madrid derby.
“We gave a very good performance and were never in danger of losing the advantage. We would have scored more goals if we'd done better in our chances," he remarked.
It was Los Azulones’ first defeat in seven matches, a fact that was not ignored by Karanka.
He praised Getafe for the stern test they put up, and highlighted their ability to contain opposition in low scoring matches.
"We have many players with character and strong personalities, and these games show it. It wasn't easy to win here and we did well to keep the final score.”
However, the capital club could have added to their tally in the match but failed to capitalize on the chances created. Spanish international, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Álvaro-Arbeloa-c5282, commented on the missed opportunities that could have secured an easier victory.
"We were unlucky not to score from the other two or three clear chances we had, but the team did well overall. We know we are efficient at scoring goals, but it's also important to keep a clean sheet in games in which we don't score many, like tonight's
[for Saturday]."
The win allows Real Madrid to continue their 7-point advantage at the top of La Liga standings. Los Blancos have accumulated 55 points from their 21 league outings and take on the challenge of Levante in their next Primera Division fixture.
