Jose Mourinho’s assistant coach, Aitor Karanka, expressed his delight at Real Madrid’s 3-1 win over Real Zaragoza and stated that the Whites must continue winning.
Real Madrid hosted Real Zaragoza in La Liga, on Saturday. To the jubilation of the Real Madrid faithful, the hosts were able to record a 3-1 victory over the visitors.
Karanka stated that he is pleased with the result, although he believes that the team could have done better.
Karanka also emphasized that it was not the best performance from Jose Mourinho’s men and they have demonstrated better game-play this season. However, he insisted that as long Los Blancos keep up their winning ways, things at the Bernabeu are bound
to improve.

"We didn't play as well as wanted, but we're happy nonetheless. We have a very good squad. The coach has stressed this many times. And it's good to have competition amongst the players because it makes them give their all.”
Madrid’s last game was the 2-2 draw against Josep Guardiola’s Barcelona. The deadlock saw the Whites being eliminated from the Copa del Rey, as the Catalans had a better goal-aggregate after winning the first leg 1-2.
Real’s Copa del Rey exit was redeemed as they managed an important victory in the league.
