Jose Mourinho’s assistant, Aitor Karanka, has taken out time to speak in defence of his team against claims made by Barcelona's Xavi Hernandez.
According to a leaked video, Xavi Hernandez called Real Madrid 'sore losers' and made statements claiming that the Los Blancos do not know how to lose and they are incapable of handling defeat.
Jose Mourinho and http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Sergio-Ramos-c33096 made a number of statements regarding the unfair treatment received by Madrid during the game.
Jose Mourinho hinted how he is used to being treated unjustly whenever he faces Barcelona.
The match officials were subjected to great amount of criticism as the game finished off at the Nou Camp.
While Los Blancos spoke against Barcelona, Xavi spoke against the onslaught of criticism which came in the way of Pep Guardiola’s men.
Karanka argued that the claims made by Xavi are completely baseless.
He emphasized that given the great history that a club like Real Madrid has, it is not used to being defeated. However, he insisted that one could not easily conclude that Madrid cannot lose.
The Spaniard expressed that it was not his job to make comments about everything, specially about what others have to say about his team.
While addressing the press, Karanka was quoted as saying:
“Of course I know Real Madrid lose, but it is not used to losing like this. This club, historically, is used to winning. "Everyone knows what they say. My http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Job-c18684 is not to comment on what others say."”
Karanka also explained how Madrid had put Wednesday’s Copa del Rey exit behind them and are looking forward to Saturday’s clash against Real Zaragoza.
“Right now we do not think to play with the club. The staff is thinking about tomorrow's match, which will be difficult, sure. Zaragoza last year and gave us a disappointment. What we think is to follow our own, our league and play like we're doing lately.”
