Former Pakistani fast bowler, Mohammad Zahid, has said that Aizaz Cheema, the Pakistani fast bowler, should have burst into the scene of International cricket much earlier, and could have been a match-winner for Pakistan in the previous decade.
Cheema made his debut for Pakistan in the recently concluded tour of http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Zimbabwe-c3045 at the age of 32, but he still impressed one and all with his pace and agility. A number of critics in the country have slammed the former selection committees of the country as
they ignored Cheema in the past, even though has been performing exceptionally well in the domestic cricket of Pakistan over the years.
Zahid himself was a tearaway fast bowler in his playing days; however, he was not able to make an impression in International cricket for a longer period of time because of fitness issues.
Former fast bowler from Gaggu Mandi, revealed that he met Cheema way back in the early 2000s in a camp of http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Pakistan-International-Airlines-c831 (PIA) and the youngster impressed him a lot. Zahid said that although Cheema has a short height but he had immense pace
even then.

The only potential negative identified was his lack of height - we wasn't very tall. Despite this, we all

Cheema has impressed against http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Pakistan-c755 cricket for another two to three years.
However, Zahid feels that the fast bowler from Lahore should have made his International debut much earlier, and he would have been an asset for the Green Shirts.
“He should have been selected for Pakistan a long time ago. If he'd been selected at the age of 23, I'm in no doubt http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Aizaz-Cheema-c961 would have taken over 250 test wickets by now,” said the former fast bowler.
