There were a lot of Boos from the Arsenal fans when he came on as a sub against Juventus in the 2nd half. Then again same happened when he came to the sideline near the tunnel at half time in the Real Madrid game, our fans booed him again. 4 minutes later he scored.

£80,000 per week and a 4 year deal, thats nice. The only reason we won yesterday was because of him, 2 goals, 1 assist.

  1. YAY!!!!!!!!

erm.. why the booOing! idiots! job well done Ade!

  2. Not me

  3. Adebayor never was actually quoted saying "I want to leave". Like the guy above me has mentioned.

He shouldn't be booed because I think Ajax just wanted him on their team! He's a good striker. But it will happen one day, so don't get too comfortable with him up front. Things change, some for the better others for the worst.

  4. no,in fact i would never boo the guy

we all know he is a good player and even though we dont want to admit it,we need him in our team

i agree he wanted to leave arsenal, but eventually he didnt and so he is still part of the team and so hes still got my support as long as he keeps up with his good performance

  5. Wow he did something in a meaningless game after showing no loyalty to your club, I would still boo him just as I will boo Ronaldo no matter what he does.

  6. nope and never booed him

  7. Ade played well throughout the game, i'd never boo him. He won the game for us and hopefully this season he can win us more games, which will result in us winning something i.e. premier league or champions league etc.

  8. I was there and I didn't boo him. Those fans who are booing him are fickle cakes and should p**s off and support Chelsea or something because we don't need their c**p here.

Most of the Arsenal fans were not booing him

  9. I have always felt very indifferent about my respect for Ade while at Arsenal.  I will be quite honest, I believed the rumours going around before his press release to Arsenal.  I was like...this man is full of c**p and should leave if he does not want to be Gunner.

After the press release, I respected him for talking with Arsenal but I still felt indifferent about the man.  I am glad that he is working to get back in favour with fans that are not too fond of him...but it will take time...

In my opinion, it would not matter if a player on my supporting team scored the most goals in the league--if that player does not want to be part of the team, I would not want him on the team!

  10. I got a bit worried during the first half!! phew!

I never booed him when he played Real Madrid, (not many did actually), most boos were for Arjen Robben and Gabriel Heinze !!

Let him prove that he is loyal to Arsenal and his heart is still with us, once the seson starts next week, let the goals do the talking!

  11. Well at least he was not quite like Ronaldo...

  12. no and never will

  13. I wouldn't Boo him, But he certainly lost a bit of my respect.

  14. I don't think he deserves to be booed. Was there actually a time where Ade came out and said he wanted to leave? It was all press speculation. He's also a quality player so he shouldn't booed. I don't support the notion of booing ones own players. (unless titus bramble plays for you)
