The Portuguese mentor has addressed the adversity Los Blancos face after being drawn into Group D of the UEFA Champions League alongside Ajax, Manchester City and Borussia Dortmund.
Interestingly, Real Madrid were drawn in the famously proclaimed ‘Group of Death’ in this year’s UEFA Champions League.

In a recent interview with Real Madrid’s official website, Jose Mourinho shed light over the opponents which the nine-time European champions face in the latest edition of UEFA Champions League.
Having made his comments about Manchester City earlier, the veteran trainer directed his focus towards Ajax and Borussia Dortmund.
The former Porto boss stressed that Los Vikingos have no room for error as they are tipped against some of the toughest sides from across the continent.
According to the mentor, Real Madrid will have to experience a great deal of competition which does not allow room for error.
Jose Mourinho went on to laud the talent of the Dutch champions, claiming that Ajax have always impressed with new talent coming up with every passing season.
On the other hand, the Special One pointed out that Dortmund have managed to oust Bayern Munich in the German league, which certainly makes them an interesting side to face.
Last year’s European campaign saw the Whites crash out of the prestigious tournament at the hands of Bayern.
Although Los Merengues reached the last four of the coveted competition in spectacular style, their run in the Champions League was cut short after they lost out to the Bavarians in the semi-final.
“Ajax, who are in perpetual state of rebuilding but always offer interesting new players, people who want to make a name for themselves and will put up a fight. Ajax also have titles and wear them on their shirt although they’ll be defending it with some
young players,” 49-year-old was quoted as saying according to Real Madrid’s official website.
“Dortmund are the German champions, they are a finely tuned team full of internationals, lots Germans and the two best Polish players. They are gaining Champions League experience, have an impressive stadium and fans that support them all the way.”
The Spanish champions will begin their Champions League on September 18 as they take on Manchester City.
