The Eindhoven giants won their first trophy of the 2012/13 season by claiming a 4-2 win over the reigning Eredivisie champions, and the former http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Barcelona-c38604 player admitted that PSV played brilliantly throughout the 90 minutes.
Ajax Amsterdam head coach, Frank de Boer, was extremely disappointed following his side’s upsetting 4-2 loss at the hands of PSV Eindhoven in the Johan Cruyff Shield game at Amsterdam Arena on Sunday, August 5.
The Dutch trainer, who has thus far guided the Amsterdammers to two successive Eredivisie titles since taking over the managerial hot seat at Amsterdam Arena in December 2010, admitted that his side staged a poor show while the Boeren played brilliantly
throughout the game.

won the trophy”, De Boer concluded.

After conceding two quick goals, the Amsterdam giants started to perform better, and they managed to pull one back through http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Toby-Alderweireld-c35183 at the stroke of half-time.
In the second-half, PSV continued to assert their authority. Toivonen scored his second of the evening in the 53rd minute to make the score-line 3-1.
A Marcelo own goal in the 74th minute reduced the deficit, but Georginio Wijnaldum’s strike moments before the full time whistle sealed the game 4-2 in favour of PSV.
