The Danish playmaker has asserted that the Spanish top tier suits him better than English Premier League.
Ajax Amsterdam's highly-rated midfielder, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Christian-Eriksen-c9074, has asserted that La Liga suits his style of play better than the English Premier League.
The gifted playmaker is one of the most promising youngsters playing in Europe. A product of the Amsterdammers fabled youth academy, the 20-year-old started his professional career at Amsterdam Arena in the 2009/10 season.
His consistent performances in the past couple of seasons have garnered him interest from a host of elite European clubs including the likes of Manchester United, Manchester City, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Arsenal-c38429.
However, the Danish International has hinted that a move to http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/England-c749.
“I don’t know yet where I will end up, but the Spanish league suits my style of play better. You get to see a lot of the ball and have the chance to create something. Of course I can develop into a more physical player later in my career, but at this point
I think that Spain would be better for me”, Eriksen was quoted as saying to Goal.com.
The Danish sensation went on to insist that the Amsterdammers are the perfect club for young players, while admitting that De Joden have become a feeder club.
“Are Ajax a stepping stone to a bigger club? I think so, yes. If you are one of the best players here and do really well, then you’ll get the chance to move to a bigger club. It’s obviously not like you have to leave, because Ajax are still a big team, too.
But if you get the chance to join a bigger side, you take it”, Eriksen concluded.
The Danish International has thus far represented Ajax in 63 matches since making his debut in January 2010, and managed to add his name to the score-sheet on 11 occasions.
The 20-year-old has an ongoing contract that will keep him at Amsterdam Arena until the end of the 2013/14 campaign.
