The Amsterdammers boss expects a stern test in his side’s upcoming Eredivisie clash against the Waalwijk outfit.
Ajax Amsterdam head coach, Frank de Boer, was all praise for http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/RKC-Waalwijk-c40370, as they have performed consistently since the start of the 2011/12 campaign.
Occupying the tenth spot in the league table, the Waalwijk outfit has stunned everyone with their consistent performances since the start of the ongoing season.
The Amsterdammers will lock horns against the outfit from Waalwijk at Amsterdam Arena on Sunday, March 11.
De Joden boss heaped praise on RKC and insisted that his side will have to perform at their best to grab all three points.
“RKC are doing quite well. They are ninth in the league. They perform well as a unit. They have good players, so we need to perform at our best. We will try to play aggressively right from the start just like we did against Roda in the second-half. Nonetheless,
I expect a tough battle”, De Boer was quoted as saying to Ajaxshowtime.
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/FC-Twente-c39233 Enschede all are still competing in UEFA Europa League while Manchester United ended Ajax’s Europe’s secondary club competition voyage in the round of 32.
De Boer insisted that his side’s rivals are still competing in Europe’s second tier competition but it will not be the only deciding factor in the race for the Eredivisie title.
“AZ and Twente claimed good results in their respective encounters while PSV scored two crucial away goals that have enhanced their chances of progressing through to the next round. I am happy for them. However, I believe that European obligations will not
play a decisive role in the title race”, the Amsterdammers boss concluded.
The reigning Eredivisie champions are currently placed fourth in the Eredivisie table, three points behind the current league leaders, AZ. The Amsterdam giants have thus far performed impressively at home, losing only one of their 11 fixtures.
De Boer would be hoping that his side manages to keep its good run of form at home intact when it takes on the Waalwijk outfit on Sunday.
