The Amsterdammers failed to lure SC Heerenveen’s winger to Amsterdam Arena in the recently concluded winter transfer market, but revive their chase in the summer.
Ajax Amsterdam head coach, Frank de Boer, has expressed that his side will acquire the services of SC Heerenveen’s http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Luciano-c22574 Narsingh in the summer transfer window.
The Amsterdam giants tabled a bid to lure the Indian-Surinamese winger away from Abe Lenstra Stadion in the final week of the recently concluded January transfer window. However, they failed to acquire his services, as the 21-year-old refused to rush into
a move. 
The Amsterdammers boss has indicated that despite failing to lure the impressive winger to Amsterdam Arena last month, his side will revive their chase of the youngster in the upcoming summer transfer window.
He admitted that his side wanted to sign him in the summer, but with many first-team players sidelined due to various injuries, the club management opted to table a bid in the January transfer window.
“He was already on our list, originally for this summer. But with so many personnel problems, we found that we had to take action now. And we're still very interested in him”, De Boer was quoted as saying to Voetbal International.
The 21-year-old started his professional career in the 2008/09 campaign at Abe Lenstra Stadion. He rapidly developed into a key player in the squad and has thus far made 46 appearances, hitting the back of the net on 10 occasions.
His impressive performances this term, netting five goals while setting up 12 more, for the Friesland outfit were enough to garner him interest from the reigning Eredivisie champions.
Narsingh admitted that every young player dreams of playing for a top club and revealed that he is hopeful that the Amsterdam giants will come asking for his signature in the summer.
“Every young player wants to go to a (big) club. Last month, it was too short notice. Hopefully in the summer I'll get one more chance”, the 21-year-old winger said while talking to journalist.
The youngster has an ongoing contract with Heerenveen that runs until the summer of 2013.
