Ajay Jayaram, an elite shuttler from India, showed his incredible class on court and stormed into Men’s Singles final after giving a punishing treatment to Singapore’s Zi Liang Derek Wong in round-of-16 showdown at Li Ning China Masters 2012 at Changzhou, on Thursday, September 13.
The spirited Jayaram, who has been ranked at number 29 in Men’s Singles world placement, put up strong show in pre-quarter-final clash while remaining focused on court and managed to thrash his Singaporean rival in a commanding fashion.
Jayaram was incredible in his positive and aggressive play as he did not spare any chance for Derek Wong to show a strong resistance and easily ended up the contest in straight sets while taking just 36 minutes on court.

In the second set, Jayaram was on a different level as he entered into the court with an aggressive approach. He did not face any problem in creating a huge gap on score board until the mid-game interval.
After the break, Jayaram remained positive and consistent as he did not commit any mistake in the concluding phase of second game.
The Indian shuttler remained confident on court as he continued his aggressive run and eventually remained successful in taking the set with a huge 21-9 score on the board.
