Take a CO2 fire extinguisher and spray it into a pillow case the white stuff in the pillow case when you're done is pure dry ice. is this true?

  1. Yes it is. That is why you cannot, or should not, touch the nozzle of a Co2 extinguisher during or after use, it will literally freeze to your hand.


  2. Yes it is.

  3. No It's a fire retardant you noticed when it's discharged the white powder stays. If It was C02 it would vaporise right away.

  4. Yes it's dry ice.

    Don't hold onto the nozzle or the pipe when discharging the extinguisher, as your hand will free to it.
