  1. He was wrong, he without any evidence accused BRAUN of doing drugs. We all knew about cousins so exposed no one. And many people know a few other druggies in AFL (hehe i have sources) n they arent braun. He shouldnt have named Braun. He jus targetted a player from WC coz of cousins n his stuff.

    I agree with Molly

  2. Didn't Aka talk about performance enhancing drugs? I'll admit I'm not up to speed with all the news but PEDs and social drugs are 2 different things. If it was found out that the WC players were cheating at any stage during 06 then like other athletes they would have their premiership stripped from them. But social drugs is a different argument all together. No one has proved that WC cheated like Aka said.

  3. Aka should give himself a big pat on the back.

While everyone brushes the dirt under the carpet, he tells it how it is and isnt afraid to do so...

I wonder if they will pay more attention to him now?

  4. That's life, not just football.  Messages that are complex or unpalatable are scoffed at.

If difficult messages were understood, and accepted, by the general public, Kim Beazley would be our Prime Minister right now!

    I wish it would change.

  5. Hmmmmmmmmmm!

Jason Akermanis unfortunately gets into trouble for his outspokednesss.

    But... He is usually right!

  6. You're right Jemima. If anything, he UNDERstated the situation at WCE and got howled down by everyone, especially the "outraged" WCE administration.

  7. I TOLD YOU SO!!!!!

I love Jason and always have.

    I love his honesty.

Good on him...I hope he gloats.

I can imagine the handstands his doing right now!!!! hehehe

  8. poor old aka .. he either seems to be loved or hated .. I hope he feels vindicated.

  9. Aka accused someone who did nothing wrong.

Channel 7 got reprimanded severely when trying uncover the problem and everyone said they should be boycotted including many on this football forum.

I suppose it is all right to sully WA players but not Hawthorn players.

  10. Aka is a good boy.

He means well. I think he's feeling pretty good about now.

  11. as usual all the bleeding hearts attacked aka

    but he is spot on

    hes the man

  12. He'd be thinking he was right, and with good reason.

The reason he got torn to shreds by the critics was because he went about it the wrong way, if memory serves me correct Dale Thomas from the Swans tried doing the same thing as aka a few years back, and he was treated the same way.

They were both correct but they just didn't use the appropriate avenues to have something done.
