The Dubai club has denied the rumour that after the sacking of Mauricio Pellegrino, Valencia have contacted them for obtaining the former Valencia coach’s services.
Spanish side Valencia are on the lookout for a new manager, following their board’s decision to terminate the contract of current manager Mauricio Pellegrino with immediate effect.
Pellegrino took over the job at the Mestalla, at the start of the 2012-2013 season as he took over the reins from former manager Unai Emery.
Valencia have since had a bumpy start to their season as they have failed to impress in the League. Pellegrino however might consider that he was unlucky, as his management confirmed Valencia’s progression to the knock out stages of the UEFA Champions League.
Valencia qualified for the next round of Europe’s elite club competition alongside German side Bayern Munich and even avoided defeat against the Bavarians on two occasions, which were seen as monumental results.
However the tactician failed to emulate his team’s European form in the Spanish league as Valencia continued to disappoint their faithful support.
