The reality of global warming is confirmed by a preponderance of reputable objectified scientific evidence.  The idea of global warming was not originated nor proven by Al Gore.  The same peer reviewed scientific studies also confirm that global warming is caused more so by human activity  than by any theoretical natural influences.

Neither did Al Gore ever claim to have "invented" the internet.  This is simply an urban legend that seem to have originated from political propaganda.

Global Warming was discovered in 1811 - way before Al Gore was around.

In 1896 the links between greenhouse gases, the greenhouse effect, global warming and climate change were established.

Scientists have been warning about the effects of global warming since before Al Gore was born.  Back then they were ignored because governments didn't want to face the consequences.  If governments had acted 50 years ago we wouldn't be in half the mess we're in now.
