Al Jabreiah expected to claim title of Fillies’ Handicap
Al Jabreiah is expected to demonstrate a winning performance at Nottingham racecourse in a bid to claim the ace title of the Meet Peppa Pig On Family Day Fillies’ Handicap, a high-profile Class 4 contest that will start at 3:45 (GMT) on Tuesday, May 22.
On the good course of 1 mile, 2 furlongs and 50 yards; the William Haggas-trained bay filly will face 8 worth rivals including Eluding, Dulkashe, Corsetry, Rythmic, Petaluma, Shannon Spree, Findeln and Symphony Star. The winner will be awarded a prize cheque
worth £4,075.
Al Jabreiah has a rich portfolio. Within just a few months of her professional career, the fantastic filly has gained immense fame and glaring feats in the world of horseracing.
Debuting with the 9th position on August 11, 2011, the three-year-old novice runner broke her maiden in the very next outing on October 20. This was indeed a magnificent achievement.
The Mohammed Jaber-owned talented sprinter moved on to finish 4th against 11 competitors in her third start on April 11, 2012. She elegantly achieved another epic triumph while being a 7-2 favourite on April 21.
Thus, the brilliant daughter of Bertolini out of Nihal is carrying a lot of confident and momentum at the moment. It is greatly anticipated that she will be able to finish first in today’s event convincingly.
Among Al Jabreiah’s competitors, Dulkashe and Shannon Spree are likely to perform well today.
Dulkashe started her career with the 4th position against 16 contestants on September 1, 2011. The Luca Cumani-trained brown filly stepped ahead to finish 2nd in each of the two subsequent starts during October---she was the hot favourite
for both the races. Now, she is eager to break her maiden.
On the other hand, Shannon Spree has won 1 of her total 9 starts so far. The Richard Hannon-trained bay filly finished 5th in each of her last two races. Earlier, she had gained a runner-up rank in November 2011.
Come what may, Al Jabreiah will be able to carry the day emphatically. Let us enjoy a fabulous action at Nottingham. Good luck to all the fillies.
