Al Razi to utilise his Jebel Ali experience in Al Redha Insurance Brokers (Handicap) (Dirt)
Ganas has been given the best odds following a consistent run in handicap company recently in Great Britain. But it will be a foolish move to trust him blindly at Jebel Ali in UAE, where he has never run a race. Mont Agel, on the other hand, has made a couple of outings here earlier this year, but he was not impressive on both occasions.
In this situation, the vote goes to Al Razi, who has done business here in the past. The 5-year-old is highly likely to utilise his experience to get the better of the opposition in Insurance Brokers (Handicap) (Dirt) on Friday, November 2nd.
In 2011, Al Razi sealed two wonderful victories at Jebel Ali. At the start of last November, the bay gelding took an easy 3-length triumph over Always Emirates. S. Seemar’s charge is aiming to do the same exactly after a year.
His second victory was also quite impressive. Owned by Sheikh Mansoor bin Mohammed al Maktoum, the son of Distorted Humor did a marvellous job here in last December. Maintaining the highest standards, the dashing runner secured the first spot by a nose.
Bred by Farfellow Farms Ltd & Racehorse Management Llc, Al Razi knows this track better than many. Hence, he is unlikely to allow his opponents to take the game away from him. There are seven other horses in the pack. The going is fast for the 6-furlong meeting, which carries a prize of £6,173.
Ganas is struggling to find the winning momentum since his sole victory back in last August. Ernst Oertel’s trainee has recently run a few fine races in UK. On his latest start at Doncaster, he was fifth in the field of 17. Yet, the son of Oasis Dream is not expected to present something special on his very first outing here. Similar is the case with Formal Demand.
Mont Agel remained unlucky on previous two occasions. The M. Al Jahouri-trained is expected to show improvement, but a winning effort is not guaranteed. Mont Agel, according to our calculations, is the main threat to Al Razi. It is going to be a close clash between them. Good luck to the pair.
