I'm looking for a reasonable restaurant, preferably in the west end, with roof top dining or particularly good al fresco dining.

    Go for a gastro-pub type with outdoor seating (and umbrellas!) ... or Richmond 'Stein's' is ok and on the river so you can watch the world go by (well... ducks)
