The Austrian international could mark a return to game action this following week in a friendly match after regaining fitness from an injured foot that he sustained in the offseason

has not played at all this season and will be returning after a couple of months.
The 20-year-old is raring to start his season after the international break. The youngster suffered the injury during a pre-season game against Italian side http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Napoli-c40003, and had to undergo surgery on his foot to get back on the field.
The versatile player has started practicing in training session and is on the road to full recovery. He is expected to return to match action in a friendly game on the weekend. The left-back suggested that he missed 10 weeks of
regular football and admitted that this was his longest lay-off during his playing career.
"I have been out of action for over 10 weeks now,” he was quoted as saying in an interview.
“I have never before been injured this long,” the 2012 UEFA Champions League finalist mused.
The central midfielder and winger further added that he is determined to get back to his top form and regain full fitness. He will play his first game of the season in a friendly match on Thursday and the players feels good after
returning to action.

"I hope that Thursday's friendly will be my first game in quite a while again," the 2011 Austrian Footballer of the Year finally concluded.
David Alaba played 30 league games last season for the Bavarian giants, but is yet to play a fixture this time around. He featured regularly for FC Hollywood and was part of the team that finished runners-up in the Bundesliga,
the DFB-Pokal cup and the Champions League. He also won the league title and German cup with Bayern in 2010.
