Toulouse FC’s head coach have raised his voice in support of the Paris-based giants, stating that the Ligue 1 club’s high-profile profile has been a step ahead for the future of French football. However, the Frenchman has also been critical of their
spending spree causing problems for rival teams.

for the league and praised the club’s efforts. However, the coach also urged fellow clubs to make effort for establishing a fair play, both in games and finances of the clubs.
The Frenchman didn’t hesitate in comparing Paris Saint-Germain to some of the biggest clubs in Europe including http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/FC-Barcelona-c39078, Real Madrid and Manchester United. The former Le Havre goalkeeper believes that despite PSG’s inexperience, they have the necessary
quality that makes them one of the finest teams in the continent. The http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Toulouse-FC-c40751 coach stated while praising the Paris-based club:
“For me, this team is the calibre of Barcelona, Real Madrid or Manchester United, even if they have less experience.”
Casanova highlighted the fact that Les Parisiens are financially backed by the http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Qatar-c2986 Investment Authority, who have been willing to spill cash over signing and retaining world-class players. The coach feels that the financial differences between PSG and
other clubs would cause an environment of unhealthy competition. However, he also acknowledged their efforts for improving the status of Ligue 1, all over the world. The head coach explained:
"The value of any one of their players is equal to our budget. That makes you think. But it's a great opportunity for L1 and for us all. PSG are a driving force, and we need that.”
The 51-year-old Frenchman added:
“PSG are doing a lot for French football. You can like their policy or not, but they are pulling our game upwards and we needed that. It's up to the other clubs to organise the revolt, to find solutions and the means to improve in terms of their play and
economically.”
