“I went to Manchester United for a one-month trial when I was 17,” revealed the Burkinabe player. Traore then added that everything went according to plan and Sir Alex really wanted to keep him at the club. however, due to some work permit issues, a deal
never materialised so Sir Alex advised the youngster to join a Belgian club.
However, the youngster also had the chance to sign for Auxerre and Traore grabbed his opportunity. Since joining AJA as an 18-year-old, Traore has risen to the ranks of Auxerre’s starting XI. Last season, he scored five goals in 20 games and this campaign,
has already made a huge impression to everyone.
