The Newcastle United manager has accepted that Newcastle United won’t be selling any of their standout performers in the current Premier League transfer window unless an over the top bid comes in for services from rival bidders....
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Alan-c4244 Pardew has made it clear that the Tyneside giants are looking to build and consolidate their squad rather than give away their stars for cheap and suffer the consequences of doing so in the next upcoming Premier League season.
Newcastle United’s stars such as Cabaye and http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Demba-Ba-c10812 have been the target of speculation right from the start of the summer transfer window as several clubs are keeping tabs on their possible departure from the Saint James’ Park stadium.
Pardew led Newcastle United to a fifth place finish last season and in doing so the Magpies just missed out on UEFA Champions League football. However in the new season which kicks off next month, Newcastle United will hope to
keep a consistent run of results flowing which will help them perhaps qualify for the UEFA Champions League.
Newcastle United will obviously face competition from the likes of http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Liverpool-c39809 and Tottenham in their attempts to grab the fourth place in the Premier League table. Pardew stated in his latest press conference that Newcastle
would only be willing to sell at “Andy Carroll price” which means that only a huge unexpected bid for one of their stars will be able to convince them to part ways.
Pardew said, “I know we can sign two or three players and keep all those we have. I know we can do that. I think we will be stronger. And if we do lose a marquee player to a really inflated price – an Andy Carroll price – then
we have got to trust our judgment and go into the marketplace."
He added, “The big http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Job-c18684 this summer is keeping players, as well as signing them. I think that is the key. We finished fifth, but that was last season.  It is important that the message gets through to the players here that, while
it is a good finish, it isn’t winning the league.”
