Newcastle United will look to seek revenge when they take the field at Old Trafford on Saturday afternoon when they face off against Manchester United for their loss to Manchester City last weekend in the English Premier League
according to their manager http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Alex-c4752 Ferguson’s men will host the Magpies on Saturday in their next league encounter and they will hope to contain Newcastle United’s backlash from their previous league match and gain all three points in the process.
It will be interesting to see how both the teams line up but judging by Pardew’s comments, it is evident that Newcastle will go for the win at Old Trafford despite Manchester United’s formidable record at the Theatre of Dreams.
Newcastle United lost to Manchester City last weekend by three goals to one despite giving http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Roberto-c31294 Mancini’s men a tough time. In the end, it was the two penalty kicks awarded against Newcastle United which turned the tide at the Etihad Stadium.
Alan Pardew said in his latest comments, “Last weekend, I learned that my players think they’re a good team. Sometimes as a player, you go to these big games and think it would be nice to come out the other end, but that wasn’t
the feeling in our dressing room afterwards. There was a feeling we could have done better - there was a little bit of anger that we could have tried that little bit harder. It’s psychological as much as physical in games against top teams.”
He added that when teams go to Manchester United and play in front of 76000 fans they are under pressure because of the support at the Theatre of Dreams and that is why some players find it difficult to play up to their usual standards.
He further elaborated that when Newcastle United played against Manchester City last weekend, they did well and the players feel that they could’ve obtained a better result against the league leaders.
Pardew will hope that his team do not succumb to another defeat in Manchester this Saturday as they will want to retain their place in the top half of the Premier League table till the end of the present season.
