Pardew says that Newcastle United suffered against http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Liverpool-c39809 by being too negative, therefore they will go for the win against Manchester United in their next English Premier League encounter...
After experiencing a brilliant start to their English Premier League campaign which saw them sustain a top five position in the Premier League table, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Alan-c4244 Pardew’s men have drifted into mid-table of late due to their woeful performances.
Newcastle United’s defence which used to be their strength at the start of the season has now turned into a liability as the Magpies conceded three goals against Liverpool in their recent Premier League encounter, even though the
Reds have struggled to find the back of the net thus far this season. Pardew will look for a response from his team when they take on Manchester United on Wednesday night.
Earlier on in the season, Newcastle United were lucky enough to come away with a draw after they were awarded a penalty kick following Rio Ferdinand’s challenge inside Manchester United’s penalty area. Nonetheless, Sir http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Alex-c4752 Ferguson’s
men will look to gain all three points against Newcastle as they intend to keep up the pressure on Manchester City at the top of the table.
Pardew said in his latest interview, “I thought at times against Liverpool we were slightly negative in our thinking. We took a safer pass rather than maybe a riskier pass. We’ve touched on that a little bit and hopefully we will
see the players being a little bit more positive and a little bit more threatening to Manchester United than Liverpool.”
He added, “I think the United side we are going to face is going to be the side that beat Wigan recently and Fulham. They have been on song and it was only a blip at Blackburn. We have to say they are in a good shape but we are
in good shape. I don’t think we did a lot wrong at Liverpool and we got a win at Bolton so we’re not in a bad place ourselves and we need to take that into the game. It’s very important you’re positive against the big teams.”
