  1. You'd have to trace the alarm systems wiring from the fuse box to the actual alarm but it could be something as simple as a blown fuse or loose wire or faulty connection,  especially a faulty ground. If it's a factory installed alarm then you may be able to get a diagram from a Dodge service depo rep.For sure if a aftermarket alarm then the system should be easiar to trace and a diagram should be accessible via the alarms manufactures web site etc.

Hope that helps and best of luck.By the way if it's a Dodge alarm system the fuse panel should indicate the fuse used for it and a lot of the times people will add alarms and use that same fuse to feed the alarm.Basically the alarm gets 12 volts from usaully a fused source if dealership or factory installed but aftermarket alarms systems come with their own fuse built into the wire going to the 12 volt source such as the battery terminal etc. Plus they have to be grounded and therefore be grounded by the metal casing and it's quite possible that it's got a rusty or corroded connection or a faulty ground wiring so try and remove the aftermarket alarm or alarm that is be used and clean the alarms metal surface and the surface it makes a ground connection with so their both nice and shiny or try simply adding a whole new fresh ground to the alarm system.
