Alarm going off in Sandusky, MI?

so there was just this really creepy alarm going off in my town. I started hearing it around midnight. It sounded maybe like a car alarm or just an alarm system going off... Anyway, me and my boyfriend drove around town trying to find where it came from, but it stopped - if anyone in sandusky knows what this alarm was -- TELL ME!
