Alaska, Winter, Summer?

Question

I live in Alaska(for a few years now), its great in the summer time, but I hate it in the winter. Should I move to the lower 48, or keep putting up with the winter?

What is it you are looking for?  We all live in different locations.  There is the warm gulf coast ranging from Texas to Florida or the mountains of Colorado, Utah, Idaho and the rest.

It all depends on what you are wanting to do (garden? surf?) compared to what you have now.

That being said - the grass isn't always greener on the other side of the fence.

I live in Alaska, too, and I am the opposite of you. I love the fall and winter and only tolerate the spring and summer!
