  1. Delta is ok, and Alaska is rated as one of the best in the US by JD Power.

I fly Alaska all the time.  If they go where I want to go (and they usually do), I will fly them exclusively.  Great service.

  2. Ive never flown Alaska, but Delta is one of my favorites!

I ONLY fly Delta and American!

    the worst it United

  3. I like Delta when I flew with them, and my uncle used to fly for them

  4. my friend has flown with delta and all she said was they had tiny bathrooms, lol. but i've flown with alaska airlines and it's fine. nothing special, but it's not, like, gross or anything.

  5. yes both are very good airlines

  6. a few days ago i arrived home from israel. we flew delta for the trip. i wouldn't recommend it, unless you're flying business class, which is really nice. the seating is really confusing and the seats aren't clearly marked (this doesn't sound like much of a problem but it takes quite a while to sort out.) the flight attendents also arent all bread and butter. they are nice, but very sharp and dont really offer anything unless you ask for it. comfort is horrible. you are truly packed in like sardines, and my flight was overbooked. the seats dont recline much and you get little leg room. one thing i did like was that they passed out ear plugs and eye masks (but this is only with international flights). the last thing is that they separated my whole family; not even two of us sat together. my 3 children were all seperated from me, my husband, and each other, and one of them is 7!! i would not recommend it. if you found this answer helpful, please best answer it.

  7. delta is excellent. they are pretty generous with their snax. UNLIKE some airlines who just give u 10 peanuts.

  8. It really depends on your definition of "good".

There is little difference between the major US airlines. The seats are about the same size on both airlines. Meal service is pretty much nonexistent in the US unless you're on Continental. On both airlines you'll get soft drinks and maybe pretzels. If you consider that to be a good airline, then both of them are good.

You could do a lot worse. At least you're not on Spirit.

If you want comfort, fly JetBlue. They actually have legroom on their aircraft, not to mention satellite TV at every seat. Unfortunately, they don't have a huge route network so they may not serve the cities that you need.
