and a governer is considered THE EXECUTIVE BRANCH.  Congress is the LEGISLATIVE BRANCH.

I would rather have someone that has executive branch experience in the VP slot than someone that has community organizer experience in the Presidents spot

Disagree. I say it's the issues you face and resolve that matter more than the number of people that live inside the borders of the state. Lower population does not automatically mean the problems faced are any easier.

The population of a state has absolutely no bearing on experience. Whether or not a state has a large population, the governor's have the same responsibilities.

By your logic, the only people that have enough experience are the governors of California and Texas.

EDIT: For those who say Palin is "another big oil scumbag", there is one VERY IMPORTANT thing you are forgetting:  The citizens of Alaska WANT "big oil" to drill there.

Most McCain supporters will selectively ignore that fact while still accusing Obama of lacking experience. She could have ZERO experience and those dolts will defend her.

The last thing we need is another big oil scumbag in the White House. Why do Republicans insist on supporting people that only hurt them?
