  1. Well im 18, And I went on the Alaskan Cruise about a year ago. To be Honest with you, ALL CRUISES are nice, and being that it was a cruise, it was nice. But at times i was bored out of my mind. Like the ship was the nicest part of it. I even faked sick a couple of times so I wouldnt have to get off at the ports when my family went off. They were horrible to me. If your into the whole history of alaska and lumberjacks and lots and lots of totem poles, this will be your thing, but if your not, Id pick something else to do. I had fun one day off ship, and we went whale watching, other than that, on ship is the way to go. And if you cant drink or gamble or anything, you can atleast get into the night club, but depending on the people on the cruise with you, that could be fun or not. So i guess your in for alot of tanning in the COLD :) thats all i did mostly. hope I helped!

  2. No Ms you will not stick out. Not everyone drinks or goes to the casino. For me Alaskan Cruises are the best. I have been on 22. You will see Ice Bergs as you will either go to Glaicer National Park or Hubbard Glaciers. You will also see whales, sea lions, bald eagles and many others. In Ketchikan go to Salom Mall at end of pier many shops great prices. Do not buy souvierns on ship. Example T-Shirt on ship $15.00 in port $ 5.00 visit Alaska Shirt.com.

    Enjoy.

  3. There are plenty of people your age on these cruises.

You will see lots of ice bergs and the most beautiful scenery you have ever seen in your life.  Alaska is an amazing place.

  4. We did our first Alaska cruise in May 2006. We are doing a group on the Carnival Spirit on June 4, 2008.

There is always something to do on the ship. From trivia to Bingo to shopping talks to "hairy chest contests" to ice carvings. It is fantastic.
