Alaskan cruise??????????

Is anyone going on the Princess Diamond on 8/15/08? i just want to get an idea of the people..lol

I am not going on this particular sailing, but I have  been on an Alaskan cruise and it was mostly older people and a few younger honeymooners.  Other than that there were very few kids, however I did go in September so school was in.  You may have a few more kids onboard since all schools are not in session yet.

In general cruise travel has changed over the past few years with more families and younger couples travelling.  However the age range varies from line to line though most cruise lines today cater to a wide age range.  If you want information on the ship, which will give you an idea of the type of people likely to be travelling, check out the cruise line website if you have not already done so.  Princess Cruise lines site is http://www.princess.com/index.html

In my last Alaska cruise there was a fairly extensive age range and variety of people on board.
