The five-match ODI series between England and http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Australia-c746 is going to commence from June 29th at the Lord’s. According to most analysts and former cricketers, the limited-overs series is going to be a good experience for both
the teams, as they will meet again in a year’s time for the all-important Ashes’ battle.
The Kangaroos are currently the number one ranked ODI team of the world, whereas, England have been doing exceedingly well in this format since the last 12 months. Hence, we can expect a closely fought battle between the traditional rivals.
Cook, who has been in tremendous batting form recently, admitted that the series is crucial for his team because there is nothing more important for an Englishmen than beating Australia. The English skipper however, refused to admit that
the outcome of this series is going to have any effect on the Ashes 2013.
"It is a big series for us as a one-day team. Everyone will say it's a precursor (to the Ashes) but whatever happens in this series it's of no relevance to what will happen a year later. That's just the way it is,” Cook expressed.
At the present moment, the Australian team is going through a rebuilding phase and have drafted a number of young players in their team since the last couple of years. The emergence of some quality young fast bowlers like http://www.senore.com/Cricket/James-Pattinson-c1653

The England captain also praised the performances of some of the young Australian players but feels that talent alone cannot make a huge difference in a competition like the Ashes, as experience is the most important thing in crunch fixtures.
The left-hander added, "It will be great to see some new guys on their team, but it counts for little if you are comparing it to an Ashes."
