Alba DVD108 - problem starting

Question

I recently picked up an Alba DVD108 from Argos as a second player. All seemed fine, but I have two disks that won't start. The first was an R1 copy of "Tomorrow Never Dies", and now an R2 "Whatever Happened to the Likely Lads". Anyone else with this player getting a similar problem? Brad.
