Alba King to hit a hat trick through the O’Brien Waste Recycling Handicap Hurdle at Sedgefield on 3rd April
Sedgefield will become home for the Class 4 O’Brien Waste Recycling Handicap Hurdle over two miles and a furlong on Tuesday, 3rd April. Nine runners will invade the track today for getting entitled to the £2, 534 purse.
The most accomplished and promising entry on the lineup is Alba King, Beauchamp King’s six-year-old bay gelding out of mare Alba Dancer. He is unbeaten since he entered the 2012 season and both the races that he took part in were held at Sedgefield.
His exit from the previous season and the entrance into the new one had him racing at Sedgefield.
Alba King’s penetration into the new season was through the Enjoy The Cheltenham Festival With Freebetting.Co.UK “National Hunt” Novices’ Handicap Hurdle on 13th March at Sedgefield over two miles and a furlong.
While riding with Jonathan England, Alba King was in command of the final two and a half length. True Blue qualified as the runner up while settling third behind the winner was One For Luck.
The 6/5 favourite of the race, Realignment, was the last one to leave the track.
Alba King earned it to be the favourite in his next start as he was the 13/8 favourite winner of the Digibet.Com Handicap Hurdle at Sedgefield over two miles and a furlong on 23rd March.
He won by a good nine lengths and had Amir Pasha finishing the race as the runner up. Coming at terms with the third position in the race was City Ground.
These two were his best performances at Sedgefield as before this the two outings that he undertook at the same race course saw him finishing ninth and eighth on the lineup of twelve.
Amir Pasha is another entry who has been pretty consistent lately and that also at Sedgefield. He has scored second twice there out of the five ventures that he undertook during the 2012 season.
He finished the closest to the winner in the Champion Hurdle Free Bets With Freebetting.Co.UK Handicap Hurdle on 13th March. The race was won by Dr Flynn while the 13/8 favourite of the race, King’s Chorister, managed the third position.
The two will encounter each other again today and are bound to race competitively.
