The Spanish fullback has been injured for quite some time now, but he is happy with the fact that the people in the Catalan locker-room are supportive even though he has not been making too many appearances.
Even though there were a lot of expectations attached with Jordi Alba’s transfer to La Blaugrana, the Spaniard could not live up to them due to a few hitches in his fitness.
It’s not because he is struggling with a long-term injury; in fact, it is only due to the fatigue which has been a part of his life since he has been playing a lot of football.
After returning from the Euro 2012 campaign, the Spaniard had to travel to places because of La Blaugrana and then later he had to return for international duty as Spain are also taking part in the FIFA World Cup 2014 qualifying stage.
Even though the Spaniard has not been playing in the first-team, Tito Vilanova has been supportive of him and has allowed him the much-needed rest.
Since Barcelona have been kind enough towards him and have not been too demanding for his performances, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Jordi-c19110 Alba has stated that he is happy and content with the coach’s behaviour as he has really helped him through during this time.
Moreover, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/U-17-Youth-team-c40787 and that has really helped him blend in with the players who are currently a part of the Spanish La Liga giants.
While speaking about the supportive behaviour of the staff, the Spaniard said:
“I felt absolutely awful when I came back from being with http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Spain-c3011, but not anymore. If not, I would not be playing,”
“The Coach is very aware of how things are going for me and that’s a good thing. He’s a very hard-working manager and he knows what he’s doing.” “My transition has been good. I’m lucky that I got to spend a lot of time here as a youth player and it’s been
fairly easy to make the transition.
“There is an excellent atmosphere in the dressing room. I knew most of my teammates because I had faced them on the pitch and now I get to play alongside them.”
Even without the services of Jordi Alba in a few games, Barcelona are still at the top of the Spanish La Liga, eight points above their arch-rivals, Real Madrid.
