Albany, NY; NY,NY; Canada; Boston. This Summer. How to Pack?

Ok, so I'm visiting the following places:

Albany, NY

NY, NY

Canada

Boston, MA

for the summer. It's going to be for 18 days. I don't know what kinds of clothes to pack. It's just that I don't want to bring something that I won't be using. Help! What kinds of weather are in these places?

I'm a guy BTW.

It is very hot in Albany these last few days, but the weather is unpredictable- we've had some spells of cold weather, rain and tornado warnings. You don't say if you're coming here strictly casual or if you'll need to dress up a bit, but I'd advise packing mostly light trousers and short sleeve shirts, shorts if you like, and some long sleeved shirts and a jacket in case it cools down, or you'll go out for dinner.
