Alberta Bound timed the race track in 28.74 seconds while defeating the runner-up, Kilmessan Bound, by three lengths. Coming at terms with the third position was, Forest Gerry.
The two-year-old then monopolised the Grade A2 Night Of Stars Dual Distance 525 550 A2 Final on 11th August, 2012 at the Shelbourne Park. He made it to the other end of the wire in 30.29 seconds, and defeated the runner-up, Forest Gerry, by three lengths.
