A.C Milan midfielder, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Alberto-Aquilani-c4313, has admitted that he has no bitterness towards Juventus, and has thanked them for resurrecting his playing career.
Aquilani spent the entire 2010/11 season on-loan with the Turin giants, and despite a wonderful season with the club, they decided against singing him on a permanent basis. The midfielder later joined A.C Milan on-loan for the
ongoing season.
The Italian international has no grudge against Juventus, and he has thanked them for bringing him back to Serie A after a dreadful time in the Premier League.
While talking to the reporters, Aquilani said,
“I have absolutely no bitterness towards Juventus, because they are the side who brought me back to http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Italy-c2926 after an unfortunate period in the Premier League,”
The 27-year-old joined http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Roma-c31603 in 2009 for a hefty price of approximately 17 million Euros. However, he failed to settle at Anfield and could only manage 28 appearances for the Reds.
Aquilani believes that a lot has changed at Juventus since he left the club, and new manager, Antonio Conte, has transformed the team. Asked on if the change was a positive one or negative, the midfielder said that the results
have justified the change.
“Of course, compared to when I was there, Juve have changed a lot. Many of the players who were in the starting XI now no longer even find space on the bench. There has been a huge transformation.” Added the Italian international
Juventus are currently joint top in the Serie A standings alongside A.C Milan. The Old Lady has not lost a single game this season thus far.
Aquilani joined the Rossoneri on-loan from Liverpool before the start of the 2011/12 season. The Italian Champions have the option to buy the Italian international if he makes a certain number of appearances in the ongoing campaign.
The former A.S Roma star has had a decent season with Milan thus far, and has made 20 appearances until now.
