http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Liverpool-c39809 talks fail – Serie A Update
Liverpool midfielder, Alberto Aquilani, still faces speculations regarding his future as there is still no official decision regarding his stay in http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Italy-c2926. The midfielder came on a loan deal to the Turin giants, Juventus FC, at the start of the season and
Juve had the option to buy the player at the season end.
However, Juve have failed to avail the option until now and Liverpool are considering other offers for the player. The English outfit demanded 16 million Euros for the midfielder, while the Old Lady wanted to bargain on the price tag. The talks have failed
and now the player has been made available in the summer transfer market and many teams across Europe are interested in placing a bid.
The player’s agent, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Franco-c14050 Zavaglia, who was optimistic of a deal going through until recently, revealed to TuttosporT:
“All season Juventus have always given me the necessary guarantees that they want to keep Alberto. The next 24 hours will be decisive. Any eventual economic agreements will follow after Juventus make their decision.”
With minimum chances of Aquilani staying in Turin, Zavaglia has responded to the rumours linking his client to AC Milan.
“Who wouldn’t like to play for Milan? Milan are a model club.” Zavaglia said.
Zavaglia believes that once the future of Aquilani gets clarified by Juve, he would consider the options available to him, and Milan can be a destination worthy of consideration.
“If Juventus can’t do a deal for http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Alberto-c4309 and he has to return to Liverpool, then Milan would certainly be a destination that he would accept,” Zavaglia concluded.
AC Milan are currently looking for reinforcements to their midfield. After the exit of http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Andrea-Pirlo-c5702 to Juventus FC, Aquilani seems a good option for the Rossoneri and the Rossoneri are keen to lure the player to San Siro. The men in the black and red jerseys
are looking forward to replicate this season’s form in the upcoming 2011/12 season and wish to make an impact in the UEFA Champions League while also defending their hard-earned Serie A title.
