Alberto Aquilani wants to stay with Juventus
Juventus midfielder http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Alberto-Aquilani-c4313 says that he wants to stay at Juventus for more than just one season.
The Italian midfielder was loaned out to the Turin giants from Liverpool by Roy Hodgson, after the Liverpool boss told Aquilani that he might not be in his game plan for this season at Anfield.
However Aquilani has rediscovered his best form, which had made him such a hot property in Italian football during his stay at Juventus. The season-long loan has made Aquilani a vital part in Luigi Del Neri’s Juventus side, and his performances have prompted
a return to Italian national side.
Aquilani said that he is feeling good, and has left his injury concerns behind. The former Roma player said, “I have had some difficult moments, but with hard work and the help of those who love me, I have overcome them.” He praised manager Del Neri, and
praised the way he has changed Juventus with by instilling an excellent team spirit.
It hasn’t taken long for the Juventus team to become united under Del Neri, and they are already in contention for the Scudetto. Before coming to Juventus Aquilani signed for http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Roma-c31603 last season, but due to injuries he was never really able to
produce the form that had forced ex-manager Rafael Benitez to sign the Italian.
His debut season in the Premier League was plagued by injuries, which restricted the 26-year old to only 14 starts for Liverpool. Meanwhile Juventus defender http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Leonardo-Bonucci-c22064 says that he wants to win every trophy on offer this season to end the 2010-11
season on a high.
Juventus are in fourth place in the Serie A, just five points behind leaders AC Milan, and have a great chance of winning the Scudetto. The Old Lady of Turin slipped up in the Serie A last weekend, when they threw away a good lead against Chievo Verona and
drew the game, as they failed to take advantage of Milan’s 1-0 loss at home to Roma.
