http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Alberto-c4309 Aquilani, has half a chance to make his move to the Serie A outfit ACF Fiorentina, claims the player’s agent. The player’s agent claimed that his client still has doubts regarding his future and it is unclear whether Liverpool
would keep him or not.
Aquilani’s agent, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Franco-c14050 Zavaglia, recently talked to the Sportitalia reporters and revealed the updates on the transfer move.
"As Alberto doesn't yet fall in the plans of Liverpool, we want to find a solution so that next year the current situation will not recur. The player wants to come to http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Italy-c2926 on a permanent transfer. I met Fiorentina's sporting director, Pantaleo Corvino,
and the club must think about it. It's a difficult deal but let's see,” revealed Zavaglia.
The agent believes that there are chances that the two outfits might agree on terms to release the player from the English Premier League, but nothing is certain as yet.
“There is a 50% chance that my client will transfer to Florence. Last year, in August, there was 'magic' Aquilani's loan deal to Juventus; let's see if this year will be the same. There is still time,” said the midfielder’s representative.
The midfielder was formerly a part of the Juventus FC squad and played the last season for the Turin giants on a loan transfer deal. It was reckoned that the Bianconeri would purchase the player from the Reds as per their guarantees to the player and his
agent. However, Juve were not willing to pay the quoted 15 million Euros for the Italian international and a discounted price was never offered. As a result, Aquilani returned to the English outfit.
The 27-year-old has been keen on playing in the Italian top flight and has been very flexible with a move to the Tuscan giants for the upcoming 2011/12 term. The player has compromised on his wages cutting it down from 3.5 million Euros a season to 2.2 million
Euros. Moreover, the deal is reported to be for 1.5 million Euros with the Viola reserving the right to buy the player outright at the end of the season for 11 million Euros.
