Recently talking to the media, Gilardino mooted transfer rumours and refused any connections to Juventus. The hitman said:
“I don’t know what my future will be. I’ve been hearing rumours for some time which have actually become bothersome. I have another two years left on my contract and, as I’ve already said, I’m happy in Florence and I want to stay. At the end of the season
I will meet with the club about the situation.”
La Vecchia Signora have Gilardino under observations and they might place a bid for the striker in the near future, but a deal is unlikely to happen as both Fiorentina and the player are happy to stay together for the upcoming season. Moreover, the striker
is under a contract until the summers of 2013 and this might be a problem for Juve.
According to various Italian news agencies, Juventus will sweeten the deal by including an attacking player as part of the offer. Speculations suggest that http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Amauri-c5381 would be the player going the other way should a deal be struck. Gilardino is valued at 15
million Euros and has numerous admirers throughout Europe, which will make the bidding process complicated for Juve.
Meanwhile, AC Milan and Santos FC have negated speculations regarding the transfer of http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Paulo-Henrique-c29448. It was claimed by numerous news networks that the attacking midfielder would be moving to the Italian outfit at the end of the season.
The Rossoneri were believed to be holding talks with the Brazilian outfit recently, but the Milan transfer guru, Ariedo Braida, has revealed that Ganso would not be coming to San Siro despite the Diavolo being keen admirers of his abilities.
“At this moment in time it is all fantasy. He may arrive one day in the future, but he won’t be with us next season. I will repeat what we have said in recent months.” Braida was reported as saying.
For his part, the Santos sporting director stated, “We have received no official offer from an Italian club for Ganso.”
The Brazilian club official also said that offers for the player’s signature will not be entertained as the outfit is keen to hold onto the player. Valuated at 50 million Euros, the player is an expensive catch, and the Rossoneri simply cannot afford an
investment of such nature.
