The Japan coach is excited by France test and believes that the game against Didier Deschamps’ side will provide Samurai Blue with an opportunity to show the world what they are capable of and how far they have come
The 2011 Asian champions are set to take on Les Bleus on Friday in a friendly fixture. However, Zaccheroni is not taking this game lightly and has urged his players to play to their potential at Stade de France.
The former AC Milan coach is eagerly anticipating the clash against Les Bleus and is looking forward to take as much advantage as they can, as Japan prepare for their upcoming World Cup qualifiers.
While talking to reporters, the 59-year-old stated that Samurai Blue are looking forward to the France clash and players want to perform well on Friday.
Praising their opponents, Zaccheroni said that Les Bleus are among the best five teams in the world and it’s a great opportunity for his players to show the world what they are capable of.
"I am very curious; we have asked to play with a very strong team and in my opinion France are among the best five teams in the world.”
The coach added that Japan need to perform well in such kind of games if they want to do well in international competitions.
"If we want to improve, we need to be able to handle these kinds of matches."
